Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by RSVPmadeSimple ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the customer", "you"). By placing an order or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

RSVPmadeSimple is a UK-based wedding website service. You can reach us at admin@rsvpmadesimple.co.uk.

2. Our services

RSVPmadeSimple provides done-for-you custom wedding websites, including design, build, hosting, RSVP functionality, and the guest management platform behind your site. There is a single service at a single price and there are no packages or tiers to choose between. What is included is set out on our website at the time of your order.

We reserve the right to update or improve our services. Any material changes to what is included will be communicated to you before they take effect.

3. The build process

After receiving your enquiry, we will respond within one to two working days and set up your customer portal. Once we have received your completed event details through your portal, we aim to deliver your first preview within approximately 1 week, though this may vary depending on the complexity of your requirements and how promptly you provide content.

You are responsible for providing accurate event information, photos, and other content in a timely manner. Delays caused by late provision of content may affect your build timeline. We will not be liable for delays caused by factors outside our control.

4. Revisions

Revisions are unlimited before your site goes live and are not charged for. This includes both tweaks (copy edits, image swaps, colour adjustments, font changes, or similar non-structural changes) and structural revisions (changes that materially alter the layout, page structure, section order, or substantive content of your site).

Revisions must be requested through your customer portal so that we have a clear record of what has been asked for.

We reserve the right to discuss scope with you where revision requests amount to a substantially different project from the one originally briefed, for example a complete change of concept after final sign-off. In that situation we will agree any additional work and cost with you in writing before proceeding, and you are free to decline.

This clause applies up to launch. Post-launch changes are handled separately under our post-launch support terms.

5. Hosting and domain

Hosting is included for 12 months from the date your website goes live. After 12 months, you may request an extension through your customer portal up to 3 months after your wedding date. We will confirm renewal terms at that point.

A custom domain is included, and we register and hold it for you. You accept that domain availability cannot be guaranteed; if your preferred domain is unavailable, we will work with you to select a suitable alternative. The domain can be transferred to you at cost whenever you ask.

6. Payment

The price is £599 in total. You may pay it in full in a single payment, or spread it: £199 when you accept your website, followed by exactly four monthly payments of £100. £199 plus four payments of £100 comes to £599, so both routes settle the same amount and there is no alternative package to select.

Spreading the cost carries no surcharge, no interest and no credit check; the amount payable is £599 either way. The four monthly payments are a fixed schedule rather than an ongoing subscription: after the fourth monthly payment the schedule ends automatically, no further payment is taken, and nothing renews.

Nothing is charged until you have seen your finished website and confirmed that you are happy with it. Your website goes live once your first payment has been made, whether that is the full £599 or the £199 that begins the schedule. Where the cost is spread, the remaining instalments are collected automatically from the payment method you provide, and failure to make a scheduled payment may result in your website being suspended until the account is brought up to date.

7. Intellectual property

On your first payment towards the £599 — whether that is the full amount or the £199 that begins the schedule — you are granted a licence to use the wedding website we build for you for the duration of your hosting period, subject to any remaining instalments being paid as they fall due. We retain the right to use the general design approach and techniques involved in your build for future projects. We will not share your personal photos or content without your consent.

Any photos or content you provide must be owned by you or licensed for your use. You confirm that you have the right to use all content you share with us. We accept no liability for infringement arising from content you provide.

8. Limitation of liability

Our total liability to you in connection with the services we provide shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us for those services.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, data loss, or damage to reputation. We are not responsible for third-party services (including domain registrars, payment processors, or hosting infrastructure providers) or for events outside our reasonable control.

9. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us at admin@rsvpmadesimple.co.uk as soon as possible. Our cancellation and refund terms are set out in full in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

10. Data protection

We process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. For active projects, we will notify you of any material changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
