how it all happened...
Sophie and Ben met at a very unremarkable house party in Bristol in 2021. Ben got the dates wrong and arrived an hour early. Sophie had also arrived early because she misread the invite. They ended up making tea together in an empty kitchen and talking until 2am.
Three years, two flat moves, one extremely opinionated cat, and one very good proposal in the Cotswolds later — here we are.
We can't wait to celebrate with you. 🌿

The Bull at Burford
Best Sunday roast in the county. Go on the day before if you can.
Bourton-on-the-Water
Ridiculous little bridges over a tiny river. Absurdly charming.
Chipping Camden Market
Saturdays only. Cheese, honey, handmade stuff, and great coffee.
Meadow Cottage B&B
Five minutes from the venue. Tell them Sophie sent you — they're lovely.
Getting there 🚗
By car: Meadowfield Farm is just off the A40 between Burford and Witney. Postcode OX18 4JS. Plenty of parking on site.
By train: Oxford is the nearest mainline station (50 min from Paddington). We're arranging a shuttle from Oxford for guests who need it — let us know on your RSVP.
